Safety and Security

At GAZOCEAN, safety is more than just a priority. It is a value that must be shared for all, by all: managers, employees, crews and stakeholders.

A safety and security policy has been developed, based on ISM (International Safety management) and ISPS (International Ship and Port Security) codes, but also on the guidelines and standards of other maritime organizations such as, in particular, the OCIMF (Oil Companies International marine Forum) through the TMSA (Tanker Management Self Assessment), or NYK Line’s NAV 9000.

Through its employees, GAZOCEAN promotes a shared culture with the following main values:
– Prevention of accidents and security breaches by assessing identified risks and implementing protective measures,

Certified ISO 9001:2015, GAZOCEAN is committed to a continuous improvement policy to provide a high-quality service while meeting the expectations of its customers and shareholders.

Environmental protection

GAZOCEAN applies to its head office and entire fleet an environmental management system compliant with and certified according to the ISO 14001: 2015 standard (continuous improvement of environmental performance).

GAZOCEAN is committed, amongst others, to the protection of cetaceans and to collision prevention through its partnership with the “Souffleurs d’écume” association.
